the late Chris and Helen Jansen, brother of Vicky (Larry) Amos, uncle of Kristina (Jeff) Largen, great-uncle of Hannah
and Ryan Largen, beloved friend of Allen J. Carroll, Steve Dellerba and Gene Newsome. Relatives and friends are invited
to Christian's Life Celebration at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, P.A., 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, MD 20745 on
Monday, September 3, 2007 from 6 to 9pm. Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at 2pm at Cedarlawn Memorial

A trusted source tells us that two of the clubs displaced by the new baseball stadium have been granted permission
to move to Ward 5. Unfortunately for the gay community, the two clubs cater to straight male clientele by featuring female dancers. This is a terrible setback for the gay community.
If this information is true, according to our count, there will be 12 straight nude dance clubs that are currently operating, or will be operating in the near future, in the District of Columbia (
view list).

There are no gay nude dance clubs remaining in the District.

On Tuesday, July 10, 2007, the District of Columbia Council members voted 9 to 4 in favor of “The One-Time Relocation of Licensees Displaced by the Ballpark and Skyland Development Project Amendment Act of 2007,” Bill 17-0109. The legislation allows no more than 2 of the displaced clubs by the new baseball stadium to relocate to any one ward. Read more in the

On June 5, 2007, the District of Columbia Council gave preliminary approval to a bill introduced by Councilmember Jim Graham (D-Ward 1) that will allow the clubs displaced by the baseball stadium to reopen in other wards in the city. Read more in the
